NLA vice-chairman Surachai Liangboonlertchai said the election plan announced by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha this week was in compliance with the regime's road map. The Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) has eight months to pen the 10 organic bills following the constitution's promulgation on April 6. Of four bills related to the elections, the NLA has passed two bills involving the Election Commission (EC) and political parties.
